Dr. Narimane is the founder and CEO of the Center of Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS); a regional Center with a unique vision established to support the healthy growth and development of higher education in the Arab region and beyond through the provision of learning and development opportunities. Prior to establishing CLICKS, she was the Assistant Chancellor for Learning and Academic Development (Provost) at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, in Dubai, UAE where she has established and led the academic, research and eLearning vision of the first online University to be recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE.
Dr. Narimane acts as a consultant for various regional UNESCO offices and acts as an external reviewer for a number of accreditation agencies where she is involved in areas related quality assurance and the embracement of new forms of learning such as e-learning and blended learning. She is highly sought speaker and has worked with more than 50 universities and colleges in different capacities.
Dr. Hadj-Hamou is the Founder of several regional initiatives including the Middle East eLearning Association (MEeA) , the MENA Association of University Presidents (launched in partnership with the Association of Arab Universities) and the MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum.
Her expertise & professional experience span over a range of areas of: technology integration ; quality assurance & accreditation , teaching and learning , women leadership development and governance for higher education.
Dr. Hadj-Hamou was in 2015 recognized by Forbes Magazine for her contribution to education and was listed among the 200 most powerful Arab Women. In 2016 she has received the Arab Women Award for Education and later in 2017 she received the Influential Educational Leader Award at the University of Cambridge as part of the ISL conference
